Roundups are a way to help you achieve your savings goals by automatically rounding to the nearest dollar on your purchases. You have the option to alter the speed at which you are saving by applying a multiplier on the roundup (x1, x2, x5, x10).
For example, if you choose roundup with a x1 multiplier and make a purchase of $3.50 using your Money by Afterpay debit card, the transaction will round up by 50 cents to $4 and we’ll transfer 50 cents from your daily account into your nominated Money savings account. If you’ve chosen a x2 multiplier, we’ll transfer $1.00 to your nominated Money savings account.
The roundup amount will be taken from your daily account and put into your nominated savings account.
You can only have one roundup from your daily account to one of your savings accounts.
When you have turned on Roundups, you’ll see the roundup icon on transactions that have had a Roundup in your Recent Activities. If you click on a transaction with the Roundup icon, you’ll see both the original transaction amount and the Roundup amount.
We won’t process a Roundup if you don’t have enough money in your Daily account for the Roundup.
The transfer of the Roundup amount related to a reversed transaction will not be reversed.
You can only have roundup activated on one savings goal.
